Pharma Profit Wrapped Up: What’s New in the Pharma Industry?

The biggest Czech pharma event just finished, and we have a lot to discuss. The full-day program left us with tremendous know-how from leading pharma experts. As a Golden Partner, we presented on the concept of smart pharmacies and loyalty management.

A DEFINITIVE EVENT FOR PHARMACISTS AND DISTRIBUTORS

On 23 April, the AquaPalace Hotel in Prague housed the most prominent pharma event in the Czech Republic: the Pharma Profit congress organized by ATOZ. Created by experts for experts, the congress welcomed over 300 attendees and 200 partners, including pharmacists, distributors, and pharmacy owners.

After attending the event as a Golden Partner, we say: This was the place to be!

PHARMA HAS TO ADAPT TO SURVIVE

After the introduction (and CareCloud’s opening remarks), the program began with an inspiring talk from Marek Dvořák, an ER doctor who saves lives daily. His main point revolved around quick decision, courage, and responsibility: qualities that translate to both business and everyday life.

Following Martin Ubl’s insightful take on current treatments for obesity, our Head of Marketing & Sales, Vladimír Stříteský, presented on smart pharmacies, personalization, and the wonderful Click & Collect reservation system. In his words, “loyalty program isn’t just discounts and points. It’s about data, knowledge, and building patient trust. Only they can improve both patient care and the average order value.”

The program was far from over. Following presentations turned to data processing, modernizations (and robotization) of current pharmacies, and patient behavior regarding reservations. Afterward, a panel discussion focused on the planned “Rx online,” which would digitize patient prescriptions in the Czech Republic.

The event concluded with Libor Štajer’s law perspective on the pharma industry and Jana Matušková’s practice of cross-selling, both intriguing and highly relevant topics to pharmacists and pharmacy owners.

We were tremendously proud to attend the event as a Gold Partner. We would like to repeat the honor next year and attend other ATOZ events, such as Czech Retail Days.
