Create Welcome Emails That Convert Newcomers Into Customers

You have only one chance to make a good first impression. Welcome emails serve as your brand’s first contact with the customer, showing a huge potential to engage and convert. Build customer relationships from day one with these best practices.

WELCOME CUSTOMERS TO YOUR BRAND
When a customer subscribes or registers for your newsletter, you must capitalize on this opportunity. Welcome emails showcase your brand, provide valuable resources, and motivate customers to buy for the first time. According to Invesp, these emails generate up to 320% more revenue on average than promotional campaigns.
Whether your welcome series introduces your brand, motivates the first purchase, offers educational content, or gathers zero-party data, there are a few guiding factors that improve the chance of conversion.
SUBJECT AND PREHEADER
What decides whether you open an email? The subject line and preheader. Always focus heavily on these two parts when optimizing emails.
The subject must draw attention and introduce the email in just a few words (ideally 3-6). Pursue dynamic and positive messages that are consistent with your tone of voice.
